Get 1/2 kg Chicken

Get 1 inch cinnamon stick
Take 1 green cardamom
Make ready 1 tsp fennel seeds
Prepare 1 tomato finely chopped
Make ready 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
Take 1/2 tsp Dry fenugreek leaves
Make ready 3 tbsp Coriander leaves
Prepare 2 tsp lemon juice
Take 1 tbsp chicken masala Powder
Get 1/2 tsp Garam masala
Take 2.1 /2 cup water or required
Instructions to make Dhaba Style simple & Spicy Chicken Gravy:
For Marination :- Take the mixing bowl add washed 1/2 kg chicken, add turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, coriander powder, 3 tbsp curd mix well coated with chicken. Cover and rest it for at least 30 mins for marinate.
Next Heat the some oil in pan add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, cumin seeds, bay leaf, fennel seeds, black pepper, cloves and dry fenugreek leaves (Kasturi Methi) saute for few seconds until aromat
After add ginger garlic paste and chopped 1 onion saute it well till they turns golden brown colour.
Next add chopped tomato stir occasionally until they becomes soft and mushy.
Now Off the flame then cool it completely. Once cooled add this mixture to grinder or mixi jar.
In the mixi jar additionally add Coriander leaves and 1/2 lemon juice add water if u needed.
Now grind this mixture to make a smooth paste. Keep aside
Further heat the oil in a pan once oil is heat sufficiently. Add marinated chicken saute it well.
Cover and cook couple of minutes stirring occasionally. After add grinded masala mixture mix well.
Furthermore add 2.1/2 cup water or required, add garam masala, Chicken masala powder mix well.
Now cover and cook until chicken well cooked. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves for garnish.
Finally dhaba style simple and spicy chicken gravy is ready. Serve with roti, naan, chapati, rice or as u wish.
