  2. To the tomatoes, add garlic, pepper, jeera with little water to form a fine mixture. Now add the mixture in a bowl, add water to dilute, then mix tamarind extract, rasam powder, and salt.
  3. In a pan, add mustard seeds, red chilies, curry leaves, and asafoetida and the prepared tomato mixture. Boil till there is frothing on the top.
