  1. Boil toor Dal in a pressure cooker
  2. Add salt, coriander and little jaggery to the dal
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add hing, Rai, jeera, green chilli, curry leaves, onion.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste.
  5. Add tomatoes.
  6. Add red masala, turmeric, coriander powder.
  7. Add little water for the tomato to cook.
  8. Add the dal mixture and some water.
