  1. First clean the fenugreek leaves/methi & chopped finely & turn in a big bowl with water.
  2. Wash 2 or 3 times with water then keep aside for drain the water.
  3. Meanwhile chopped potatoes & garlic.
  4. Heat the heavy bottom pan add oil in it when oil is heated add cumin seeds & mustard seeds in it.
  5. Then add chopped garlic & 2 dry red chilli saute for a minute.
  6. Add chopped potatoes in it & dry spices like turmeric powder and red chilli powder mix well & cover the lid for low flame.
  7. When potatoes is half cooked then add chopped washed methi/fenugreek leaves in it mix well add salt & cover the lid again.
  8. Cooked 10 to 15 minutes in low flame in between check again & again it's cooked or not.
  9. After 15 to 20 minutes.Methi Aloo is ready to serve with chapati or puri or paratha or rice too.
