The ingredients needed to make Jowar Chakli:
  1. Get 1 Cup Jowar flour
  2. Make ready 1 tsp sesame seeds
  3. Make ready 1 tsp Ajwain
  4. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
  5. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric(haldi) powder
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp oil
  7. Get Oil for frying
  8. Take Salt to taste
  9. Make ready 1 Cup water
Instructions to make Jowar Chakli:
  1. Combine Jowar flour, sesame seeds, Ajwain and salt in a bowl.
  2. Heat the water in a pan on medium heat and add red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Turn off flame. Now add jowar flour. Mix gently. Cover and let it rest for 15min. at room temperature.
  3. Now knead the Chakli dough. Add some water for soft dough if needed.
  4. We need the Chakli disc grease the press, place the dough in the press and close it. Gently roll the dough towards itself to form a spiral shape. Lightly press the end of the coil into the circle to hold.
  5. Oil is hot enough to check add little dough into the oil. Carefully add the Chakli to the pan. Gently flip when one side is golden and continue to fry.
  6. Remove the Chakli, place them on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
  7. Serve these instant Chakli with hot filter coffee or masala tea. You will love munching anytime.
